Description
What you’ll learn

A monoscene is a long, single continuous scene that unfolds in one location and real time, no edits. We’ll build on strong fundamentals and push toward intentional choices, sharper game, and cohesive storytelling.

We’ll work on:
  • Precision in comedic timing and rhythm over long scenes
  • Deepening and evolving character points of view (not just establishing them)
  • Tracking and heightening patterns to create satisfying comedic arcs
  • Managing group dynamics and shared focus within a single environment

About me
I’m a Peruvian comedian based in Washington, DC, and I’ve been doing improv comedy for over 15 years. Over that time, I’ve been fortunate to receive multiple comedy awards, teach and perform in more than 20 cities across the U.S., Latin America, and Europe, and get millions of views online through my comedic work. I’ve also had the honor of being featured on major comedy podcasts like Earwolf’s improv4humans with Matt Besser and Improv Nerd with Jimmy Carrane.

If you’re looking to sharpen your skills, get real reps with feedback, and learn from someone who lives and breathes improv, I’d love to work with you in this class.
