Comedic scenes are often composed of two character styles : the Anchor and the Chaos Goblin. This dichotomy is fundamental to comedy from Abbott & Costello to Mork & Mindy to Homer & Marge.
In this six-week class you will develop an understanding of this dynamic and how to use it in your improv scenes.
Benjamin Bailey-Buhner has been doing improv since 2013. He is a founding member of The Long Con Improv Group which performs regularly around Santa Fe, most recently at the Jean Cocteau Theater. He has taught various styles of improv and coached several improv teams. When not playing improv you can find him walking around at a leisurely pace, binge watching Bones, or bowling with his friends.
