Description
It's our philosophy that the audience is one of the best teachers of improv. It's important for an improviser to get onstage early in their improv journey so they can start figuring out what works best for their particular style. With that in mind, this workshop is about as madcap an idea as we've ever had. It's a workshop that transitions right into a show.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
  • From 6:00-7:00, the students prepare for a show. We'll figure out the form, hosting duties, and even a troupe name.
  • At 7:00, the doors open for the audience to start filtering in for a pay-what-you-like showcase, featuring the students and the teacher.
  • At 7:30, the curtains lift and we start the show.

This is as pure as improv gets. The students won't know who they're performing with and what the show is until we decide it at the workshop. It's exhilarating, chaotic, and FUN!

THIS CLASS IS BEST FOR:
  • Improvisers who are itching for the stage.
  • Improvisers wanting to test what they've learned in our workshops in front of a live audience.
  • Improvisers looking to find like-minded people to organize into a troupe and try out our coached improv ensemble troupes!

  • We are a CASHLESS theater, so please prepare accordingly if you plan on getting a drink!

  • Registrations are final.
