The Improvised Funeral navigates audiences safely through the five stages of grief: Laughter, More Laughter, Most Laughter, Utmost Laughter, & Acceptance.

Bunch of all-star goofs (ASSSSCAT, Edinburgh Fringe, SF Sketchfest, & more) from theaters all over (BCC, UCB, Second City, & also more) welcome their friends and special guests to celebrate the life of an audience member the only way they know how… through long-form improv.

Thank you for supporting our shows at the RAT NYC! All ticket sales are final. Exchanges may be made for the same event only, should availability allow.

The RAT NYC is located at 68-117 Jay Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201. We are a ground level storefront venue closer to the corner of Water Street. Look for the pink neon rat light in the window.

The closest train stations are the F at York Street (2 min walk), the A/C at High Street (6 min walk) or the 2/3 to Clark Street (12-15 min walk). We are also right near the East River Ferry at Pier 1, and there are plentiful CitiBike racks in the area. Street parking can be difficult; public parking lots are available throughout the neighborhood.
