Description

In order to give you a more-welcoming onramp to our drop-in workshops, we have four prerequisite Intro to Improv workshops. The Intro to Improv workshops can be taken in any order. If you’re interested in getting started FAST, we have a weekly Michael and Me workshop and Improv Launchpad workshop as well as Improv Jams that do not require any prerequisites to participate.


This one-hour INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED workshop focuses on improvising in group scenes of 3+ people. The more improvisers in a scene, the more chaotic a scene can get. This workshop is focused on helping you find your way into a larger group scene and being a valuable participant in a larger scene.

This workshop requires a MINIMUM of three students to run.


This workshop is best for:

  1. Improvisers who find themselves lost in a scene of more than two people.
  2. Improvisers who are challenged by keeping track of the elements and other characters in a group scene.
  3. Improvisers who are sick of playing inanimate objects in group scenes.

If you plan on attending multiple classes each month, consider signing up for a membership, which has added benefits (including participation in our Student Improv Showcase) and discounted class rates.
  • Class Policies: Registration is final and non-refundable. Classes require minimum enrollment; full refunds are issued if canceled.
