Are you an improviser who wants to feel confident and funny with any person, no matter their style, pace, or experience? This workshop is designed for you!
In this two-hour session, we’ll focus on the skills and tricks that help you play with anyone on stage, whether they’re big and bold, quiet and minimal, or totally unexpected. You’ll walk away with practical tools you can immediately use in jams, auditions, and shows.
🧠 What We’ll Explore
- Playing with different types of partners
Learn how to adapt to and elevate scene partners who bring big characters and bold choices, as well as those who give very little information, stay vague, or throw out too many ideas at once.
- Scene flexibility skills
Exercises that build comfort with different energy levels, styles, and rhythms, so you can stay grounded and funny no matter what your partner brings.
- Active listening and support
Techniques that help you stay present, respond clearly, and build scenes that feel collaborative instead of forced or one-sided.
- Confidence for jams and auditions
Tools that help you show up relaxed and confident in high-pressure situations by making strong, simple choices that work with any partner.
