Description
Advanced Forms: Expand your knowledge around the forms you were introduced to in Level 2 and gain the experience of learning more! Level 3 will cover a deeper look into the concepts we've been honing since Level 1, and offer an opportunity of utilizing them in various formats/game moves throughout the session. In addition to the exploration of forms, there will be exercises focusing on longer two-person scenework, an expanse on openings & group mind/group games, and opportunity for more individualized and specific feedback. Each aspect of this class will be in preparation for honing and learning the Harold (MIST's Level 4).

Prerequisite: Students must have completed Level 2 of the MIST Longform Improv program to be eligible to register for Level 3.

Graduation show: This course includes a graduation show to give students the opportunity to show off their new skills to friends and family! (Thursday, October 30th at 8pm @ Portland Media Center / $5 admission)

About your instructor: Daniel Karambelas first discovered improv while taking classes at ImprovBoston beginning in 2014. In 2016, he moved to Chicago to further his studies, completing the programs at Second City, iO, and the Annoyance training centers. After spending some years onstage in Chicago, Daniel is back home, performing and teaching in New England. Daniel draws from the different approaches and philosophies he has learned throughout his improv career, and incorporates them as both a performer and instructor. He is currently teaching improv with the Maine Improv Studio and can be seen performing about New England.
