Level 4 (The Harold): Let's put it all together, folks! Join us as we dive deep into the original longform, the beast itself, THE HAROLD. This class will examine deeply every avenue that goes into the piece, and all the ways you can make it your own.
Prerequisite: Harold students must complete all previous levels with the Maine Improv Studio (MIST)
Graduation show: This course includes a graduation show to give students the opportunity to show off their new skills to friends and family! (Friday January 16th at 8pm @ Portland Media Center / $5 admission)
About your instructor: Daniel Karambelas first discovered improv while taking classes at ImprovBoston beginning in 2014. In 2016, he moved to Chicago to further his studies, completing the programs at Second City, iO, and the Annoyance training centers. After spending some years onstage in Chicago, Daniel is back home, performing and teaching in New England. Daniel draws from the different approaches and philosophies he has learned throughout his improv career, and incorporates them as both a performer and instructor. He is currently teaching improv with the Maine Improv Studio and can be seen performing about New England.
