Poetry meets improv in Poets Up, the live show where scenes inspire poems and poems inspire scenes.

 A bell signals each new round of collaboration, creating an ever-changing mix of humor, heart, and creativity.

Poet's up is a show where art does not have to wait its turn. Improvisers are doing scenes while poets are writing their inspirations on paper. One minute you are watching improv, then you are listening to poetry inspired by the improv, and then you watch as the scenes reflect the verses you just heard. 

Throughout the show, the scene energy and poetry flow change as improv and poetry dialogues new ideas into creation. Think of it as a cycle, a dance, an infinite loop of creativity. 

We can call this Creativity Out Loud

No two shows are ever alike.
